Prophet Saleh (AS) was a descendant of the great prophet Nuh (AS). He was sent to the city called Al- Hijr. He was sent by Allah to the nation of Thamud. Al-Hijr is located in Arabia.

हजरत सालेह एएस पैगंबर मोहम्मद से पहले आए थे। सालेह एएस की कहानी की तुलना अक्सर भगवान की ऊंटनी की कहानी से की जाती थी। ऊँट क़ौम थमुद को ईश्वर की ओर से एक उपहार के रूप में दिया गया था जो साबित करता है कि सालेह एएस एक भविष्यद्वक्ता था।

The people of Al-Hijr were very powerful and wealthy. Over a few generations, they grow mature. They’re built the house from mud but their age was so long that the house destroyed before their death so they start building houses by cutting rocks. They built castles on rocks and follow an ideology.

In the Quran, it is also mentioned how they built a strong and huge castle and buildings as a symbol of their power. Allah has given them a chance to turn back to him they know what happened to the people of Ad for their disobedience to Allah.
But they did not take any lesson from this and in this materialistic world, they are so involved that they denied the warnings. Here poor people start worshiping the rich people and the rich proclaim themselves God.
Now this time Prophet Saleh (AS), who is very respected in society, people of Samood respect his wisdom and virtue, and they are also prepared to make him their leader. This is the time when Allah Subhan Wa Taa’la bestowed Saleh with Prophethood.

Prophet Saleh did everything to convince their people to follow no one but Allah. He said to his people ” “O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it. So ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive” (11:61).
Saleh (AS) continues to urge his people to obey Allah and fear and worship no one but Allah. The majority of people did not listen to him but there are a few who follow the path of Allah.
The majority of the people of Samood planned to ask Saleh AS for a miracle that prove that he is a messenger from Allah. They called Saleh AS and asked him to prove he is a messenger of Allah. They point to a particular huge rock and said ask your Allah to bring a she-camel from that rock who is pregnant and will provide milk for the people of Samood.
Hazrat Saleh pleaded with Allah because he want his people to come t the path of Allah. Allah Subhan Wa Ta’Laa granted what he asked. Allah ordered the particular rock and a big red She camel appeared from in between the rock. Seeing this a vast majority move towards Allah but still a large number of people of Samood still in disbelief.
Saleh AS warned the people of Samood not to do any harm to her.
Saleh said to his people of Samood that she is a camel of Allah so let her feed from this earth and do not do any harm to it or else Allah punish you all. In this way, they leave the camel to feed around and drink water from the common well.
Samood people’s hatred toward Saleh turns towards this Camel and they plan to kill the She camel. All the disbelievers in Samood planned against the camel and finally killed her.
People mocked Saleh AS, “O Saleh, bring us what you promise us if you should be of the messengers.” Saleh replied, “Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise that will not be denied.” (11:65)
As said By Allah, In three days they will see the result. Allah ordered Saleh AS and his followers to leave the town. The first day they turn white, the next day red, and then black and on the third day before they realize what happened they died. Thunderstorms filled the sky and earthquakes on earth. The whole town went into the earth and no one was alive.
Prophet Saleh AS went back to the Al-Hijr mountain to see what happened and he said with heavy heart, “O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the message of my Lord and advised you, but you do not like advisors.”.
He went to Palestine and until his death, he stays there.

लेकिन उन्होंने इससे कोई सबक नहीं लिया और इस भौतिकवादी दुनिया में वे इतने उलझे हुए हैं कि उन्होंने चेतावनियों को नकार दिया। यहां गरीब लोग अमीरों की पूजा करने लगते हैं और अमीर खुद को भगवान घोषित कर देते हैं।
अब इस बार पैगंबर सालेह (एएस) जिनकी समाज में काफी इज्जत है, समूद के लोग उनकी अक्लमंदी और सदाचार का सम्मान करते हैं और उन्हें अपना नेता बनाने के लिए भी तैयार हैं. यह वह समय है जब अल्लाह सुभान वा तआला ने सालेह को पैगंबर का दर्जा दिया।
पैगंबर सालेह ने अपने लोगों को अल्लाह के अलावा किसी का अनुसरण करने के लिए मनाने के लिए सब कुछ किया। उसने अपने लोगों से कहा “” मेरे लोगों, अल्लाह की इबादत करो; तुम्हारे पास उसके अलावा कोई देवता नहीं है। उसने तुम्हें धरती से पैदा किया और तुम्हें उसमें बसाया। इसलिए उससे क्षमा मांगो और फिर उससे पश्चाताप करो। वास्तव में, मेरे भगवान निकट और उत्तरदायी है ”(11:61)।
सालेह (एएस) अपने लोगों से अल्लाह का पालन करने और अल्लाह के अलावा किसी से डरने और उसकी पूजा करने का आग्रह करता रहता है। अधिकांश लोगों ने उनकी बात नहीं मानी, लेकिन कुछ ऐसे हैं जो अल्लाह के मार्ग पर चलते हैं।
समूद के अधिकांश लोगों ने सालेह एएस से एक चमत्कार के लिए पूछने की योजना बनाई जो साबित करता है कि वह अल्लाह का दूत है।
उन्होंने सालेह एएस को बुलाया और उससे साबित करने के लिए कहा कि वह अल्लाह का दूत है। उन्होंने एक विशेष विशाल चट्टान की ओर इशारा किया और कहा कि अपने अल्लाह से उस चट्टान से एक ऊँटनी लाने के लिए कहो जो गर्भवती है और समूद के लोगों के लिए दूध प्रदान करेगी।
हजरत सालेह ने अल्लाह से गुहार लगाई क्योंकि वह चाहते हैं कि उनके लोग अल्लाह की राह पर आएं। अल्लाह सुभान वा तआला ने जो मांगा वह दिया। अल्लाह ने विशेष चट्टान का आदेश दिया और चट्टान के बीच से एक बड़ी लाल ऊंट प्रकट हुई। यह देखकर एक विशाल बहुमत अल्लाह की ओर बढ़ता है लेकिन फिर भी बड़ी संख्या में समूद के लोग अविश्वास में रहते हैं।
सालेह एएस ने समूद के लोगों को चेतावनी दी कि वे उसे कोई नुकसान न पहुंचाएं।
सालेह ने अपनी क़ौम समूद से कहा कि वह अल्लाह की ऊँटनी है तो उसे इसी ज़मीन से चरने दो और उसे कोई नुकसान न पहुँचाओ वरना अल्लाह तुम सबको अज़ाब दे। ऐसे में वे ऊंट को इधर-उधर चरने के लिए छोड़ देते हैं और आम कुएं का पानी पीते हैं।
सालेह के प्रति समूद लोगों की नफरत इस ऊँट की ओर मुड़ जाती है और वे ऊँटनी को मारने की योजना बनाते हैं। समूद के सभी अविश्वासियों ने ऊंट के खिलाफ योजना बनाई और अंत में उसे मार डाला।
लोगों ने सालेह एएस का मज़ाक उड़ाया, “ऐ सालेह, अगर तुम रसूलों में से हो तो जो वादा करते हो वह हमें लाओ।” सालेह ने उत्तर दिया, “तीन दिन तक अपने अपने घरों में आनन्द करो। यह एक ऐसा वादा है जिससे इनकार नहीं किया जाएगा। (11:65)
जैसा कि अल्लाह ने कहा, तीन दिनों में वे परिणाम देखेंगे। अल्लाह ने सालेह एएस और उनके अनुयायियों को शहर छोड़ने का आदेश दिया। पहले दिन वे सफेद, अगले दिन लाल, और फिर काले हो जाते हैं और तीसरे दिन इससे पहले कि उन्हें पता चले कि क्या हुआ वे मर गए। गर्जना से आकाश भर गया और पृथ्वी पर भूकम्प। सारा नगर मिट्टी में मिल गया और कोई भी जीवित न रहा।
पैगंबर सालेह अल-हिज्र पर्वत पर वापस गए, यह देखने के लिए कि क्या हुआ और उन्होंने भारी मन से कहा, “हे मेरे लोगों, मैंने निश्चित रूप से आपको अपने भगवान का संदेश दिया था और आपको सलाह दी थी, लेकिन आप सलाहकारों को पसंद नहीं करते हैं।” .
वह फिलिस्तीन गए और अपनी मृत्यु तक वहीं रहे।
