Surah Az-Zaitoon is named after the olive tree, The Olive is a symbol of my benefits in Islamic culture, Surah Az Zaitoon is a short surah with very high meaning. It was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Mecca in the earlier period of his prophethood. This surah tells us the benefits of Olives.

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

وَهَذَا الْبَلَدِ الأَمِينِ

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ

إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ

Mount Sinai And Oath Of Zaitoon

As it is seen in many Surahs, Surah Zaitoon begins with an oath where Allah Swear by a significant element of His creation. Here olive and Mount Sinai Allahsswear upon. This is a method used in the Quran to emphasize the importance of the subsequent message.
