بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

لِاِيۡلٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍۙ

اٖلٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ الشِّتَآءِ وَالصَّيۡفِ

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ 

الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ

(It is a great Grace and Protection from Allah) , for the taming of the Quraish,
For their taming (We cause) the caravans to set forth in winter and summer.
So let them worship the Lord of this House,
Who hath fed them against hunger and hath made them safe from fear.

             बिस्मिल्लाह हीर रहमान नीर रहीम

लि ईलाफि कुरैश

 इलाफिहिम रिहलतश शिताई वस सैफ

फल यअ’बुदू रब्बा हाज़ल बैत

अल्लज़ी अत अमहुम मिन जूअ व आमनहुम मिन खौफ

अल्लाह के नाम से, जो बड़ा मेहरबान निहायत रहम बाला है।

चूँकि क़ुरैश को जाड़े और गर्मी के सफ़र से परिचित कर दिया है

तो उनको परिचित कर देने की वजह से

इस घर (काबा) के मालिक की इबादत करनी चाहिए

जिसने उनको भूख में खाना दिया और उनको खौफ़ से अमन अता किया
