Surah Al-Kafirun

During the early years of Islam, this surah was revealed in Makkah. At the time Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) faced opposition from polytheists of Quraish. This surah is the clear declaration of Allah the only God and it rejects the form of polytheism.

Qul yaaa-ayyuhal kaafiroon

Laaa a’budu maa t’abudoon

Wa laaa antum ‘aabidoona maaa a’bud

Lakum deenukum wa liya deen.

 کہہ دو اے کافرو
نہ تومیں تمہارے معبودوں کی عبادت کرتا ہوں
اور نہ تم ہی میرے معبود کی عبادت کرتے ہو

اور نہ تم میرے معبود کی عبادت کرو گے
تمہارے لیے تمہارا دین ہے اور میرے لیے میرا دین
